Clinical Psychologist Postdoctoral Fellowship
Our practice has opportunities for a full-time postdoctoral fellowship or (pre-licensed clinician in counseling or social work). The student must have completed their coursework and is either seeking to accumulate their postdoctoral hours, having taken the EPPP or working toward taking it.
The postdoc can set their own hours, meeting the requirements of a full-time postdoc. One evening per week is required. The postdoc can assess and treat the full range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families. The supervisor will provide weekly supervision.
A full time postdoc is paid $60,000-70,000. Hours are paid W2 per billable hour and are paid a flat rate.
The following requirements weekly:
24 direct hours per week (intakes, individual/group therapy)
1 hr supervision and supervision as needed for emergent concerns
5 hrs of documentation
1 hr staff mtg
3 hrs marketing or special projects
4 hrs professional reading, clinical preparation, etc (can be used for studying for EPPP)
Benefits:

$250 annual education stipend to cover continued training or licensure costs
The supervisor does all the billing, will generate referrals, and facilitate some advertising. The postdoc will also be responsible for their own advertising.
Qualities that we look for in clinicians include: solid clinical skills, humility, collaborative focus, strong communication skills, organized, have an inclusive and affirming approach with clients, and openness to learn.
This fellowship could help a postdoctoral student build a caseload they may take with them at the completion of their fellowship. We ask for a two-year employment commitment to the practice.
